The executive board of our company is made up of the following directors:

Ian Masters - Creative Director

After graduating with Honours in Computer Science and AI from Leeds University in 1998, Ian worked for Codemasters, one of the UK’s largest games developers and publishers. As a programmer he played an important role in the development of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful “TOCA: World Tour Cars” (OPSM 10/10). He then moved on to Intelligent Games where he worked on a wide variety of projects and platforms including “FIFA Word Cup 2002” (PS2, GC & PC), “Wallace & Gromit” (GBA). Ian began to specialize in mobile while working on Java based mobile phone games for Nokia. In 2003 Ian co-founded AirPlay and provided the concept and design for the BAFTA nominated game “Super Yum Yum”. His role at AirPlay is of Creative Director where he oversees the direction of both game design and technology.

James Wright - Production Director

James is an experienced producer, level and game designer. James began his career at respected global design agency Razorfish, before joining Intelligent Games to work on "2002 FIFA World Cup" (PC, PS2 & GC). Shortly thereafter, he became Producer for Intelligent Game's mobile game development team where he produced and designed several titles for Nokia including "Bumper v2". He went on to work with Coyote Developments on 2 major GameCube titles before co-founding AirPlay and was Producer and Level Designer for the BAFTA nominated game “Super Yum Yum”. His role at AirPlay is of Production Director where oversees the production of all of AirPlay’s games.

Rick Gibson - Commercial Director

Rick has worked in the video games industry for the last 6 years. Formerly the Commercial Development Director for UPC Media, the interactive content division of Europe's largest cable company UPC, Rick managed all games content acquisition internationally. Before that, Rick was Commercial Manager at PA New Media, where he originated and developed Ananova. In 2004, Rick completed his MBA at Cranfield School of Management, specialising in outsourcing in games development. A regular speaker at TIGA events, Rick has conducted numerous surveys, research and strategy projects on behalf of private clients. Rick wrote Screen Digest's Outsourcing report in 2006. Rick is a Develop columnist and a Director of Games Investor Consulting Ltd, the UK games industry's leading strategy and corporate finance consultancy.

Kapil Bhargava - Financial Controller

Kapil is a Cambridge graduate and Cranfield MBA with over 12 years experience in consultancy and technology. He was a former consultant with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young where he focused on financial transformation and analytical modelling to assist major investment decisions. He has worked with a number of large organisations including Citibank, Centrica, British Steel and various government agencies. He has developed performance management systems for government. During his MBA at Cranfield, Kapil specialised in finance and new business development, and assisted the University to develop spin-off opportunities. Since his MBA, Kapil has been working with various early-stage venture companies.
